Everything Real Estate
I'm from the Midwest, so generally I don't know too much about the big West & East Coast real estate markets. I have lived on the West Coast and still have family in Oregon and California, but I don't keep on top of everything there. Most of the markets here and in the South are doing marginal, though I have seen better. The big cities are the ones getting hit the hardest by the foreclosures and declining values.
If you want to learn a few things about houses, mortgages, flipping and all that jazz, that I have learned, then stick around and I will divulge my knowledge to ye. Since we own 2 houses and I've been through appraisal classes and have been a certified home inspector, I know what to look for in a house. I'm learning more on the mortgage and paperwork side as often as I can, but it can get a little twisty at times, that's when my financial planner/advisors/MBA's...brother-in-laws help me out. It pays to know people and even more to be related to them!
